About The Position

The Lead Deli Production Team Member provides operational support to the Deli management team. The position supervises restaurant activities during non-peak service hours and other hours as needed, provides direction to team members during a shift, and works in hourly positions. The role helps ensure that deli operations meet company standards and plans, including food preparation, register and cash-handling procedures, safety, cleanliness, product availability, freshness, and hospitality.

Responsibilities

Maintain PTC restaurant operational standards and follow PTC processes and policies.
Execute the shift plan and follow up on assigned tasks.
Assist the management team and work hourly positions.
Monitor food preparation, register procedures, and cash-handling policies and processes.
Meet PTC Hospitality standards and provide direction to team members during shifts.
Ensure deli cleaning processes and methods are followed.
Monitor labor usage and compliance with break policies.
Follow deli plans and objectives set by the Deli General Manager.
Assist with team-member training and cross-training as directed.
Maintain safe working conditions by following safety and security policies and processes.
Ensure team members adhere to PTC dress-code standards.
Follow maintenance processes and methods.
Advise the Deli General Manager about performance or discipline problems.
Ensure acceptable execution of suggestive selling, product, food-safety, and cleanliness standards.
Ensure compliance with PTC marketing requirements and that products are available and fresh.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
