About The Position

The Lead Deli Production Team Member provides operational support to the Deli management team. The position supervises restaurant activities during non-peak service hours and at other times as needed, provides direction to team members, and also works hourly positions. The role helps ensure operational, hospitality, food preparation, cash handling, food safety, cleanliness, marketing, and maintenance standards are followed. It assists management with training and cross-training and advises the Deli General Manager about performance or discipline concerns.

Responsibilities

Maintain PTC restaurant operational standards and execute the shift plan.
Follow up on assigned tasks and assist the management team.
Work hourly positions and supervise restaurant activities during non-peak service hours and other hours as needed.
Monitor food preparation, register procedures, and cash-handling policies and processes.
Meet PTC Hospitality standards and provide direction to team members during shifts.
Ensure deli cleaning processes and methods are followed.
Monitor labor usage and compliance with break policy.
Adhere to deli plans and objectives set by the Deli General Manager, as well as PTC processes and policies.
Assist with training and cross-training team members as directed.
Maintain safe working conditions by following safety and security policies and processes.
Ensure team members follow PTC dress-code standards.
Follow maintenance processes and methods.
Advise the Deli General Manager about performance or discipline problems.
Ensure acceptable execution of suggestive selling, product, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
Ensure compliance with PTC marketing and ensure products are available and fresh.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
