About The Position

Thermo Fluids in Gillette, Wyoming, is seeking a Utility Driver/Driver Lead. The Utility Driver provides primary route coverage for the assigned district and supports other districts as needed for vacation, sick time, and turnover. The role includes collecting waste oil from customer locations, preparing waste loads for shipment to oil terminals, and ensuring waste and oil are stored safely and properly. The driver also serves as a backup for routes, provides customer service, and mentors and trains other drivers.

Requirements

• Class B CDL required.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements upon hire.
• Ability to travel.
• Ability to train and mentor others on job responsibilities.
• Excellent safety record.
• Strong communication skills, work ethic, and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Class A CDL strongly preferred.
• Previous route service driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safe work practices, policies, and processes, and act safely at all times.
• Provide safe, friendly, timely, and quality customer service.
• Pick up waste oil at customer locations using a Class B tanker truck, box truck, or lube delivery truck.
• Mentor and train other drivers.
• Prepare waste loads for shipment to oil terminals.
• Cover routes as a backup driver when needed, including supporting other districts.
• Ensure waste and oil are stored safely and properly.
• Visit and service 8 or more customers per day.
