About The Position

Thermo Fluids in Gillette, Wyoming is seeking a Utility Driver/Driver Lead. The Utility Driver provides primary route coverage for the assigned district and supports other districts as needed for vacation, sick time, and turnover. The role includes collecting waste oil from customer locations, preparing waste loads for shipment to oil terminals, maintaining safe storage of waste and oil, and providing route coverage. Drivers use Class B tanker trucks, box trucks, and/or lube delivery trucks, and the lead driver mentors and trains other drivers. The position involves visiting and servicing eight or more customers per day and providing safe, friendly, punctual, quality customer service.

Requirements

• Class B CDL required.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements upon hire.
• Ability to travel.
• Ability to train and mentor on job responsibilities.
• Must have an excellent safety record.
• Strong communication skills, work ethic, and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Class A CDL strongly preferred.
• Previous route service driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safe work practices, policies, and processes, making health and safety the top priority.
• Provide safe, friendly, on-time, quality customer service.
• Pick up waste oil at customer locations using Class B tanker trucks, box trucks, and/or lube delivery trucks.
• Mentor and train other drivers.
• Prepare waste loads for shipment to oil terminals.
• Serve as a backup driver to cover routes when needed.
• Ensure waste and oil are stored safely and properly.
• Visit and service eight or more customers per day.
