About The Position

Safety-Kleen in Salt Lake City, Utah, is seeking a Utility Driver/Driver Lead. The Utility Driver provides primary route coverage for the assigned district and supports other districts as needed during vacations, sick leave, and turnover. The role picks up waste oil from customer locations using Class B tanker trucks, box trucks, and/or lube delivery trucks; prepares waste loads for shipment to oil terminals; and serves as a backup route driver. The driver also mentors and trains other drivers, ensures waste and oil are stored safely, and services at least eight customers per day while providing safe, friendly, timely, and high-quality customer service. Requirements

Class B CDL required.
Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements upon hire.
Ability to travel.
Ability to train and mentor others on job responsibilities.
Excellent safety record.
Strong communication skills, work ethic, and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Class A CDL strongly preferred.
Previous route service driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Comply with safe work practices, policies, and processes and act safely at all times.
Provide safe, friendly, timely, and quality customer service.
Pick up waste oil at customer locations using a Class B tanker truck, box truck, and/or lube delivery truck.
Mentor and train other drivers.
Prepare waste loads for shipment to oil terminals.
Serve as a backup driver to cover routes when needed.
Ensure waste and oil are stored safely and properly.
Visit and service eight or more customers per day.
