About The Position

Silverado is hiring a Laundry Aide to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment for residents in a memory care community. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, consistency, integrity, and a compassionate approach to supporting residents, including individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. The position is full-time on the PM shift, Sunday through Thursday, from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Requirements

• Be dependable, eager to learn, and able to thrive in a team-focused environment.
• Show respect and compassion when supporting others.
• Be comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Be able to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Be willing to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Have reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and sort laundry for the community.
• Ensure resident garments and linens are clean and properly handled.
• Contribute to the goals and objectives of the department and community.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
