About The Position

Silverado St. Charles is hiring a full-time Laundry Aide to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment for residents. The role involves collecting, cleaning, and sorting community laundry; properly handling resident garments and linens; contributing to department and community goals; and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment. Candidates should be dependable, attentive to detail, service-oriented, and willing to work with people with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
