PT Laundry Aide
About The Position
Avante at Orlando Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is hiring a part-time Laundry Aide to perform the day-to-day activities of the Laundry Department in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards and direction from the Director of Housekeeping and Laundry Services and/or the Administrator. The role helps maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary facility and ensures an adequate supply of linen is available to meet residents’ needs. The position is weekends only and is based at 2000 N Semoran Blvd, Orlando, Florida 32807. Pay is $15 per hour. The job requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must speak and understand English.
- Must have a positive attitude toward the elderly.
- Must be a high school graduate.
- Must complete background screening through the AHCA Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in long-term care is preferred.
