About The Position

A Laundry Aide performs daily laundry tasks for a care or assisted living community to help maintain a safe and sanitary environment. Duties include washing and drying residents’ personal laundry, linens, drapes, mops, and other garments, then folding, stacking, or hanging items and returning residents’ personal belongings to the appropriate area.

Responsibilities

• Wash and dry residents’ personal laundry, linens, drapes, mops, and other miscellaneous garments.
• Fold, stack, and hang residents’ clothing and linens.
• Return residents’ personal items to the appropriate area.
