About The Position

As a Last Mile Operations Lead at RXO, you will coordinate with site leadership to support home delivery services and assist with day-to-day operations. The role leads a warehouse team, helps strengthen existing processes, and uses operational metrics to improve business performance. Reliable transportation is required. The position also works with contract carriers, driver helpers, dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and the Operations Manager to support efficient operations and meet customer expectations.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
At least 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills.
Experience cycle counting warehouse inventory.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of 15–20 warehouse material handlers in receiving, picking, and processing daily orders.
Use operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and create actionable plans.
Train material handlers to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
Build positive working relationships with the warehouse team, contract carriers, and driver helpers.
Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day.
Partner with the Operations Manager to identify problem areas, including restructuring routes to improve operational efficiency.
Train and develop contract carriers, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel to meet and exceed customer expectations.
