About The Position

As a Last Mile Operations Lead at RXO, you will coordinate with site leadership to support home delivery services and assist with day-to-day operations. The role leads warehouse material handlers, supports operational improvement, and helps ensure safety, quality, productivity, and customer expectations are met. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, experienced with cycle counting warehouse inventory, able to lead a warehouse team, and capable of strengthening existing processes. Reliable transportation is required.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
At least 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of 15–20 warehouse material handlers in receiving, picking, and processing daily orders.
Use operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and create actionable plans to improve the business.
Train material handlers to meet safety, quality, and productivity performance goals.
Build positive working relationships with the warehouse team, contract carriers, and driver helpers.
Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day.
Partner with the Operations Manager to identify problem areas, including restructuring routes to improve operational efficiencies.
Train and develop contract carriers, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel to meet and exceed customer expectations.
