About The Position

As a Last Mile Operations Lead at RXO, you will coordinate with site leadership to support home delivery services and assist with day-to-day operations. The role leads a warehouse team, manages carrier dispatch, and helps strengthen processes and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and experienced in cycle counting warehouse inventory. Reliable transportation is required.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
At least 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong math skills and solid analytical ability.
Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills.
Experience with cycle counting warehouse inventory.

Responsibilities

Lead 15–20 warehouse material handlers in receiving, picking, and processing daily orders.
Use operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and create actionable plans.
Train material handlers to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
Build positive working relationships with the warehouse team, contract carriers, and driver helpers.
Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day.
Partner with the Operations Manager to identify problem areas, including restructuring routes to improve operational efficiency.
Train and develop contract carriers, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel to meet and exceed customer expectations.
