About The Position

Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its Labor & Employment Practice in its Phoenix, Arizona office. The practice represents clients nationwide in employment litigation, counseling, and training. The role offers an opportunity to take a significant part in labor and employment matters within a collaborative, sophisticated practice, with extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies, and opposing counsel. The successful candidate will handle litigation work such as drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions. Attorneys with substantive litigation experience in other areas, a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law, and strong litigation skills are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Admission to practice law in Arizona.
Two to fifteen years of experience in employment law matters is sought.
Prior employment litigation experience is required; management-side experience is preferred.
Substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law may be considered for developing attorneys.
Strong writing and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Self-starter.
