About The Position

The Orange County, California office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an attorney to join its Labor & Employment Practice. The attorney will provide legal services across labor and employment matters and take a significant role in the practice. The position involves extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies, and opposing counsel. The practice represents clients nationwide in employment litigation, counseling, and training, across many jurisdictions. Candidates should be comfortable handling discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions. The firm is also interested in talented attorneys with substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law.

Requirements

Admission to practice in California.
Two to fifteen years of experience in employment law matters.
Prior employment litigation experience is required, preferably on the management side.
Strong writing and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
