About The Position

Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its Labor & Employment Practice in the firm’s Reno, Nevada office. The practice represents clients nationwide in employment litigation, counseling, and training. The attorney will provide legal services across labor and employment matters and will have extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies, and opposing counsel. The role involves handling litigation tasks such as drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions. The firm is also open to talented developing attorneys with substantive litigation experience, strong skills, and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law.

Requirements

Admission to practice law in Nevada.
Two to fifteen years of experience in employment law matters.
Prior employment litigation experience.
Strong writing and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law are acceptable for developing attorneys.
