About The Position

The Kitchen Associate provides food service at a Pump & Pantry location, with a focus on customer satisfaction. Depending on the location, the role may also involve food service at Pump Food, Quizno’s, Scoops, Cinnabon, KKC, or Little Caesars. The position has no supervisory responsibilities and may include other duties as assigned. Physical attendance at the primary work location is required.

Be able to meet the stated physical demands, including occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and frequently walking, sitting, using hands and fingers, handling or feeling, reaching, talking, and hearing; occasional climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may also be required.
If under age 18, do not use a slicer or dough press under any circumstances.

Responsibilities

Help customers promptly, courteously, and professionally.
Meet company and health regulation standards for cleanliness in the food service area, equipment, and utensils.
Keep equipment in good working order.
Comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Complete preparation work and stocking for the next shift.
Follow recipes when preparing food; measure, cut, and wrap food.
Follow food safety procedures for raw and cooked foods.
Maintain product quality and freshness through proper rotation and monitoring of codes and temperatures.
Maintain safe working conditions.
Wear the assigned uniform and meet company appearance and dress-code standards.
Provide friendly and competent customer service and report to work on time when scheduled.
At applicable locations, greet customers, take orders, and prepare food to company specifications.
At applicable locations, present meals professionally and ensure they satisfy customers.
At applicable locations, collect the correct payment, provide correct change, and complete cash register functions accurately.
At applicable locations, complete daily preparation and stocking for the next shift and clean customer work areas, dining areas, and tables.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
