About The Position
The Kitchen Assistant/Dishwasher washes dishes and assists kitchen staff with food preparation in a made-to-order dining environment featuring fresh ingredients, seasonal and regional menus, and daily specials. The role also helps maintain clean and orderly dining-room wait stations and equipment, sets up the buffet, and keeps dishes and dining supplies clean and well stocked. The position has no late nights. Training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Clean dishes according to procedures.
- Keep dining-room wait-station areas and equipment clean and orderly.
- Set up the buffet.
- Maintain clean, ample supplies of dishes, flatware, glasses, cups, and folded napkins.
- Assist with food preparation.
