About The Position
The Medication Aide assists with or administers prescribed medications to residents and documents medication-management information. The role also involves notifying an LVN/LPN about negative medication reactions, managing medication refills, and updating records. The employer provides training for the rest of the role beyond caregiver experience.
Requirements
- Experience as a caregiver.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- Coursework or training in medication administration; this is not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with or administer medications as prescribed by a physician to residents.
