About The Position

The Kids Events Team Member leads children ages three to thirteen through activities such as rock climbing, swimming, arts and crafts, and gym games. The role incorporates nutrition education into themed activities and provides a safe, fun environment. The team member may lead groups of up to 10 children.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of related experience.
• First Aid certification is required within the first 60 days of hire.
• Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification is required within the first 60 days of hire.
• Ability to tolerate loud noises.
• Ability to frequently stand and walk; use hands, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and climb ladders.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engage children in interactive activities, including organized arts and crafts, singing, sports activities, and games, while maintaining a safe environment.
• Lead groups of up to 10 children ages 3–13 with a fun, positive, and outgoing attitude, acting as a role model.
• Demonstrate courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism toward internal and external customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in activities and programming to ensure safety.
• Promote monthly events and activities to increase participation and revenue.
• Ensure supplies, snacks, and drinks are used according to amounts prearranged by the department budget.
