About The Position

The Kids Events Team Member leads children ages 3 to 13 through activities such as rock climbing, swimming, arts and crafts, gym games, sports, and singing. The role incorporates nutrition education into themed activities while providing a safe, fun experience. Team members lead groups of up to 10 children, maintain clean and orderly activities and programming, promote events, and use supplies, snacks, and drinks in accordance with department budgets. The position requires evening and weekend availability.

Requirements

• One year of related experience.
• First Aid certification required within the first 60 days of hire.
• Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire.
• Ability to tolerate loud noises.
• Ability to frequently stand and walk; use hands, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and climb ladders.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead children through interactive activities, including arts and crafts, singing, sports, games, rock climbing, swimming, and gym games.
• Lead groups of up to 10 children ages 3 to 13 with a fun, positive, and outgoing attitude, serving as a role model.
• Maintain a safe environment during activities.
• Demonstrate courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism with internal and external customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in activities and programming to ensure safety.
• Promote monthly events and activities to increase participation and revenue.
• Ensure supplies, snacks, and drinks are used in accordance with department budgets.
• Incorporate nutrition education into themed activities.
