About The Position

The Kids Project Coordinator supports the vision and initiatives of Church of the King Kids Ministry by coordinating projects, managing digital content, and keeping ministry resources and platforms current, engaging, and aligned with ministry goals. The role combines organizational and project coordination skills with creativity and hands-on content development, supporting the Kids Ministry experience for children and families across all campuses. The coordinator works with Kids Ministry leaders and other departments to move projects and initiatives forward, maintain consistent branding and messaging, and support special events, campaigns, and launches. The role also includes visiting a campus weekly to observe the Kids Ministry experience and provide constructive feedback to leadership. The position requires support for the mission, vision, values, and Statement of Faith of Church of the King; a growing relationship with Jesus Christ; professionalism and a servant-hearted approach; and compliance with church policies, including child safety, confidentiality, and appropriate use of photos and videos. Required background screening and child protection training must be completed.

Requirements

Experience or interest in photography, videography, and basic video editing.

Responsibilities

Coordinate Kids Ministry projects from planning through completion, ensuring timelines, deadlines, and deliverables are met.
Manage and maintain Kids Ministry content across digital platforms, keeping information accurate, relevant, and up to date.
Create and coordinate social media content highlighting ministry events, resources, activities, and stories.
Capture photos and videos during services, events, and Kids Ministry activities in accordance with church policies.
Perform routine platform updates, including uploading graphics, videos, resources, and other ministry information.
Collaborate with Kids Ministry leaders to establish project timelines, monitor progress, and identify potential delays.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure projects and initiatives are completed efficiently.
Maintain consistency in Kids Ministry branding, messaging, and content in alignment with Church of the King standards.
Visit a campus weekly to observe the Kids Ministry experience, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide constructive feedback to leadership.
Track outstanding projects, communicate progress, and follow up with appropriate team members to ensure completion.
Support special events, campaigns, launches, and other Kids Ministry initiatives.
Perform other ministry-related duties and projects as assigned.
Support the mission, vision, values, and Statement of Faith of Church of the King.
Represent Church of the King with excellence in ministry and professional interactions.
Maintain a positive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach.
Follow church policies and procedures regarding child safety, confidentiality, and appropriate use of photos and videos.
Complete required background screening and child protection training.
