About The Position
Southwind’s Field Sales & Service Team provides junk removal and customer service for 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in Glendale, California. This full-time opportunity trains people in real-world, on-site sales skills in an active, fast-paced environment. Customers have already contacted the company for help, and the employee builds trust, creates value, confidently prices jobs, and closes sales while delivering a positive customer experience. The role combines customer conversations and sales with hands-on junk removal and teamwork on daily routes. No junk removal experience is needed; training is provided. The posting describes opportunities to build foundational sales skills and advance into sales, operations, recruiting, or leadership roles.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to repeatedly lift 70–85+ pounds.
- Weekend availability required.
- Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Provide on-site estimates and confidently close sales.

- Remove unwanted items from homes and businesses.
- Work efficiently with a team to complete daily routes.

- Lift, carry, load, and maneuver items throughout the day.

Benefits
- Hourly base pay of $18.75 per hour, with tips, profit share, and performance incentives; stated total pay is $27–$31 per hour.
