About The Position
Join Southwind’s Field Sales & Service Team at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in Boise, Idaho. This full-time role combines on-site sales with hands-on junk removal and customer service. The company provides training for people new to sales. Customers have already contacted the company for help, and the role involves building trust, assessing and pricing jobs, guiding customers through the decision, and closing sales on-site. The work is active and team-based, with no cold calling or desk-bound lead chasing. Team members remove unwanted items from homes and businesses, complete daily routes, and provide professional, high-quality customer experiences. The position offers opportunities to develop communication, negotiation, customer psychology, relationship-building, confidence, and closing skills. The company promotes from within, with potential pathways into sales, operations, recruiting, people development, and management. The listed pay is $19–$23+ per hour, including an $11-per-hour base, with tips, profit share, and performance incentives. The schedule is 4–5 shifts per week, with 8–10-hour shifts and typical start times of 7 a.m. or noon depending on business needs. Weekend availability is required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to repeatedly lift 70–85+ pounds.
