About The Position
Southwind is hiring a Customer Service & Sales Team Member for its 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise group in Ashland, Virginia. This full-time field sales and service role combines customer interaction and sales with the physical removal and loading of unwanted items from homes and businesses. Team members provide positive customer experiences, explain services and pricing, identify opportunities to increase sales, and represent the brand professionally while working with a team. The posting lists pay averaging $23–$30 per hour or more, consisting of a $13 hourly base plus profit share and tips. The schedule is five days per week: four weekdays and one weekend day.
Requirements
- Positive, energetic attitude.
- Strong communication skills.
- Reliable and team-oriented.
- Able to lift 50 or more pounds.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be at least 21 years old for insurance purposes.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service, sales, retail, restaurant, or hospitality experience is preferred.
