About The Position

Modern Maintenance provides commercial janitorial and facility management services. The Janitorial Site Supervisor oversees on-site janitorial staff while also performing cleaning duties. The role includes resolving customer issues, helping prepare work schedules, maintaining a safe work environment and accurate records, and working with the Area Manager to meet quality standards. The supervisor also performs janitorial tasks such as emptying trash, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming carpets, dusting and cleaning floors and surfaces, and maintaining closets and storage areas. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with flexibility required for possible daytime coverage or training. Weekends may be needed. The position is in person in an office setting and is expected to work 40 hours per week. Pay is $22 per hour.

Requirements

• Three years of supervisory experience.
• Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record.
• Professional, well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entirety of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Remove fingerprints and marks from glass and stainless-steel surfaces.
• Maintain the cleanliness of closets and storage areas.
• Notify the Area Manager of problems.
• Perform other janitorial duties as required.
