Janitorial Site Supervisor
About The Position
The Janitorial Site Supervisor leads an evening janitorial team at a K-12 school facility, keeping the site clean and safe. The supervisor supports general cleaners on established routes, manages daily tasks and project zones, inspects completed work for compliance with cleaning standards, OSHA guidelines, and site protocols, coordinates special floor-care projects, manages cleaning-supply inventory, and communicates professionally with clients and management to respond to site requests. The role is on-site at Robert Smalls Pkwy in Beaufort, South Carolina, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Starting pay is $24.00 per hour.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in janitorial or custodial services.
- Strong communication skills, safety awareness, and detailed inspection skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to pass a state and national background check.
- Basic cleaning and safety knowledge.
