About The Position

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a full-time, permanent Bilingual Janitorial Site Supervisor. The role leads a team in a complex, task-oriented janitorial operation and supports the KBS Maintenance Operations Center and Field Operations teams by responding to escalations efficiently and accurately. The supervisor also performs cleaning duties as needed and helps ensure daily operations are covered. The position pays $20.00 per hour and has a listed shift of 6:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.

Non-exempt employees must use the KBSPresence mobile app on a personal mobile device to record work hours and breaks, manage attendance, complete required training, and receive employment information. Cell phone reimbursement is provided in accordance with applicable local laws.

Requirements

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• At least 1 year of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Ability to follow OSHA requirements, safety guidelines, and forklift instructions.
• Customer-service orientation and a friendly, positive demeanor, with the ability to motivate team members and support customer requests in an orderly and timely manner.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe-handling documents for chemicals, generally in English and sometimes in Spanish where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in a complex, task-oriented janitorial operation.
• Support the Maintenance Operations Center Team and KBS Field Operations Team by responding efficiently, promptly, and accurately to escalations.
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, breakrooms, and other work areas as needed.
• Follow the Janitorial Supervisor Task Process Flowchart.
• Support employee callouts by working directly or splitting shifts among the team and shift lead to cover daily operations schedules.
• Provide feedback on ongoing activities and follow timely escalation-reporting procedures to the KBS Management Team.
