About The Position

Maintain a safe and clean store facility environment while consistently providing friendly, courteous customer service to internal and external customers. Requirements

Be at least 16 years of age.
Read and follow verbal and written instructions.
Perform primary duties efficiently and accurately.
Work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Perform moderate lifting of up to 30 pounds.
Crawl, bend, stoop, climb, balance, reach, walk, push, pull, and maneuver in tight quarters; climb ladders and scaffolding.
Use approved chemicals and solvents.
Work outside in cold, hot, and inclement weather, including rain, snow, and sleet.
Communicate through hearing and speech with customers and fellow employees.
Learn safety and departmental policies and procedures.
Obtain Food Handlers Certification as required by state law.

Responsibilities

Welcome, engage, serve, and thank customers; maintain a friendly, enthusiastic customer-service atmosphere.
Keep the store clean and safe by performing cleaning tasks regularly and as needed.
Sweep and mop sales floors, backrooms, restrooms, offices, and breakrooms to maintain spill-free floors; maintain sweep logs.
Empty trash cans and bins throughout the store interior and exterior property.
Maintain office and employee breakroom areas; wipe down walls and appliances, including pop machines, vending machines, ATMs, cases, and rails.
Clean and sanitize restroom floors, fixtures, and appliances.
Clean cases and glass doors throughout the store.
Maintain can-return machines and their surrounding area, including wiping down machines and emptying bins.
Dust and vacuum store facilities.
Assist with replacing lamps in light fixtures.
Clean and scrub backrooms.
Cooperate with customers in a kind and courteous manner.
Assist with rounding up and bringing in shopping carts from the parking lot as needed.
Respond quickly to audible pages for spill cleanup, customer service, accidents, and emergencies.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
