About The Position
Goal Cleaning LLC is hiring a part-time Janitor/Custodian for an evening shift at a hospital in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. The role involves cleaning and maintaining operating rooms and designated equipment, following hospital housekeeping standards and established cleaning procedures, handling infectious waste appropriately, and helping maintain a clean and safe healthcare environment. The position is in person and is scheduled for four hours per shift. Pay is $14.00–$16.00 per hour. The successful candidate will follow written and verbal instructions, observe safety procedures when performing Category I tasks and handling hazardous materials, and maintain a professional appearance and pleasant manner. The work may involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens, chemical hazards, and radiation hazards.
Requirements
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and infectious waste handling guidelines.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for at least five hours per day.
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 55 pounds.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and established cleaning protocols.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to commute to Bensalem, PA 19020.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.
- Must be willing to work in a healthcare environment with potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, chemical hazards, and radiation hazards.
