About The Position
The American Club is hiring a J-1 Work & Travel Program participant for seasonal employment in Kohler, Wisconsin. The program is designed for university students from other countries who are on academic break, with a primary focus on cultural exchange and opportunities to gain work experience while experiencing American culture. The role is part of the food and beverage teams and offers experience in guest service, effective selling techniques, food and liquor handling, and restaurant operations. This is a part-time, onsite position. Shifts vary between 5:30 am and 10:00 pm, and work is scheduled on weekdays and weekends.
Requirements
- Be energetic and willing to learn.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and proactively with a warm welcome.
- Courteously escort guests to tables.
- Assist servers and bus people when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout front-of-house and restroom areas.
