About The Position

Texell Credit Union is hiring a college-level Information Technology Support Intern for its paid summer internship program. The internship runs from May 20 through July 30, 2027, and requires approximately 28 hours per week. Applicants should be available for the entire established program period. The intern will complete two projects: assisting with a workstation refresh by building new workstations, performing updates, and migrating users to new systems; and evaluating Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), then preparing a report on feasibility and cost/benefit to Texell, including price, maintenance and labor, and technical infrastructure. The role also provides exposure to financial-institution operations through basic day-to-day IT duties, including onboarding and offboarding, workstation builds, and helpdesk duties. The program is tailored to the intern’s skills and career direction. Interns participate in Texell Serves, the employee volunteer and service program, and give Senior Management a final presentation documenting their internship and takeaways. Compensation is $20 per hour plus a $1,500 bonus upon successful completion of the program.
