About The Position

FC Industries is seeking an IT Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting technology across its manufacturing organization. The intern will work alongside an experienced IT team and contribute to help desk support, troubleshooting, and user assistance. The role supports workstations, printers, mobile devices, and specialized hardware and software, while providing exposure to business systems, infrastructure, manufacturing technology, and real-world IT projects. The internship is fully on-site at the company’s offices in Dayton, Ohio.

Requirements

• Must be a United States citizen.
• Currently enrolled in a college, university, or Career Technical Center (CTC) program pursuing a degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Networking, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications and operating systems, including Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
• Strong interest in technology and willingness to learn new systems, tools, and processes.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, think critically, and work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Must be able to maneuver throughout the shop floor.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, push, reach overhead, and bend to the floor.

Responsibilities

• Provide help desk support, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist users.
• Support workstations, printers, mobile devices, and specialized hardware and software.
• Collaborate with IT professionals on projects and technical challenges.
• Learn about and support business systems, infrastructure, and manufacturing technology.
