About The Position
This internship offers hands-on experience providing front-line technical support in a professional environment while learning how enterprise IT teams operate. This is a 20-hour per week, in-office internship opportunity that begins January 11th, 2026 and offers $15 per hour in compensation. We also offer flexible schedules to accommodate your school schedule, as well!
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree or certificate program related to IT, Computer Science, or Information Systems
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and common applications
- Interest in hardware, troubleshooting, and customer support
- Strong communication skills and a professional, service-oriented mindset
- Ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and learn quickly
- Reliable, organized, and able to handle confidential information appropriately
Responsibilities
- Provide basic desktop and end-user support under the guidance of experienced IT professionals
- Assist with setup, imaging, and deployment of laptops, desktops, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot common hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing and collecting equipment
- Assist with ticket documentation and tracking in an IT service management system
- Help maintain IT inventory and asset records
- Shadow IT team members to learn troubleshooting techniques and best practices
- Contribute to basic documentation and knowledge base updates
