About the position
The job overview for this role is that the Associate on the Technology and Security team will be responsible for supporting end users' hardware and software, troubleshooting technical issues, implementing security controls, and monitoring and responding to security incidents. They will also collaborate with the IT team, communicate with end users, conduct IT trainings, and perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, experience in cybersecurity, knowledge of security frameworks, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in supporting various operating systems and software.
Responsibilities
- Support end users' hardware and software
- Troubleshoot technical issues
- Document troubleshooting resolutions
- Collaborate with IT team to implement security controls and technologies
- Work independently in support of end user requests
- Communicate solutions verbally, over chat, and email
- Collaborate with team members on troubleshooting requests, project rollouts, and policy applications
- Understand end users' technical needs
- Host and organize IT trainings
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Monitor network traffic and system logs for security incidents
- Understand TCP/IP Networking, hubs, and switches
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Have 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related field
- Have minimum 3 years' experience with Level 1 and Level 2 support
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, or CIS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of SharePoint and MS Teams
- Experience supporting Windows 11 and MacOS operating systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with Azure Active Directory administration
- Experience with Meraki, PowerShell, Python, and HTML is a plus
- Experience supporting Office 365 environment
- Ability to travel occasionally to support other office locations
- Possess a valid driver's license and either have or obtain a valid passport
