About The Position

The IS Technical Specialist provides technical and consultative support on the most complex technical matters. The role analyzes, designs, and develops systems based on user specifications; assists with hardware and software problems; and uses in-depth knowledge of technical tools for systems development and support. The specialist maintains knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to Huntington. The role may include helping identify training needs or train less experienced staff, and serving as project leader for specific projects. Other duties may be assigned.

The stated workplace type is Office. Some positions outside the branch network may be eligible for flexible arrangements combining in-office work and work from home; specific arrangements are provided by the hiring team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or an additional four years of related work experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
• Five or more years of related experience, or an additional four years of related work experience may be considered in lieu of the bachelor's degree.
