About The Position

Energy Transfer is seeking an application developer to work on existing and new custom application development and integration. The role supports line-of-business applications used by Interstate and Intrastate Natural Gas business users and draws on various technologies. The position involves working with business users and IT to identify requirements, designing, developing, testing, deploying, troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving software. The employee is expected to learn new IT and business skills regularly and adapt to changing priorities. Participation in an on-call rotation is required, including helping resolve issues outside normal business hours. The role is performed in person at an office during business hours, usually under normal office working conditions, and may involve occasional overnight travel to other company locations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5–8 years of relevant job experience for the Senior Specialist/Analyst level.
General application development skills in one or more of the listed areas: modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular/HTML5; Java and/or Groovy, or C# as an alternative; relational database management systems, primarily SQL Server (T-SQL).
