About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking an IS Support Services Associate to provide highly responsive first- and second-tier IT support to staff at the hospital, physician practices, and other related healthcare facilities in the Corbin, Kentucky market. Support includes computer hardware and related equipment, general software and application installation and support, and some clinical application and hardware support. The role coordinates with Baptist Health IT infrastructure and application teams to deploy and support healthcare applications, help ensure system availability, and support patient care.

Support covers the main hospital campus; associated clinical and support facilities in the surrounding market, including diagnostic centers, surgery centers, and labs; Baptist Health Medical Group physician practices and remote clinics; and work-from-home Baptist employees within the market. The service area may span counties surrounding the hospital. Both remote and on-premise support may be in scope.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a related area, or six months of related experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-tier IT support to staff across the hospital, physician practices, and related healthcare facilities.
• Support computer hardware and related equipment, general software and application installation and support, and some clinical applications and hardware.
• Coordinate with IT infrastructure and application teams to deploy and support healthcare applications and help ensure system availability.
• Support users and equipment at the main hospital campus, associated facilities, physician practices, remote clinics, and work-from-home employees across the surrounding market.
• Provide both remote and on-premise support as needed.
