About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking an IS Support Services Associate to join its team in Corbin, Kentucky. The role provides highly responsive first- and second-tier IT support to staff at the hospital, physician practices, and related healthcare facilities in the market. Support includes computer hardware and related equipment, general software and application installation and support, and some clinical application and hardware support.

The associate coordinates with Baptist Health IT infrastructure and application teams to deploy and support healthcare applications, help ensure system availability, and support patient care. The role supports users and equipment at the main hospital campus; associated clinical and support facilities such as diagnostic centers, surgery centers, and labs; Baptist Health Medical Group physician practices and remote clinic locations; and work-from-home Baptist employees within the market. The service area may cover a large geographical area across surrounding counties, and support may be remote or on-premise.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a related area, or six months of related experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-tier IT support to staff at the hospital, physician practices, and related healthcare facilities.
• Support computer hardware and related equipment.
• Install and support general software and applications.
• Provide some clinical application and hardware support.
• Coordinate with IT infrastructure and application teams to deploy and support healthcare applications.
• Help ensure system availability in support of patient care.
• Support users and equipment across the main hospital campus, associated facilities, physician practices, remote clinics, and work-from-home employees within the market through remote and on-premise support.
