About The Position

WQS Industrial Services Ltd. is recruiting IRATA Certified, Journeyman & Apprentice Welders for the 2026 Fall Turnaround Season, with major projects in the Fort McMurray region. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team, enjoy a people-first culture, and contribute to a season focused on excellence. Employees who commit to and complete their entire Turnaround assignment may have the opportunity to qualify for a draw for a brand-new vehicle. Official contest rules and eligibility details will be provided to eligible participants.

Requirements

Rope Access IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification or interest in obtaining your IRATA certification.
Registered Apprentice or Journeyman Welder certification.
Must be Fit for Duty at all times and be able to comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace which includes alcohol and drug testing.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

Experience welding stainless steel.
Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver abstract.
Common Safety Orientation & Confined Space Certification.

Responsibilities

Perform welding tasks during the Fall 2026 Turnaround Season.
Adhere to the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace, including alcohol and drug testing.
Demonstrate high standards of safety and align with best-in-class company culture.
