About The Position

WQS Industrial Services Ltd. is recruiting IRATA Certified, Journeyman & Apprentice Welders for the 2026 Fall Turnaround Season, with major projects in the Fort McMurray region. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team, enjoy a people-first culture, and contribute to a season focused on excellence. Employees who commit to and complete their entire Turnaround assignment may have the opportunity to qualify for a draw for a brand-new vehicle. Official contest rules and eligibility details will be provided to eligible participants.

Requirements

  • Rope Access IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification or interest in obtaining your IRATA certification.
  • Registered Apprentice or Journeyman Welder certification.
  • Must be Fit for Duty at all times and be able to comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace which includes alcohol and drug testing.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience welding stainless steel.
  • Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver abstract.
  • Common Safety Orientation & Confined Space Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding tasks during the Fall 2026 Turnaround Season.
  • Adhere to the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace, including alcohol and drug testing.
