About The Position
WQS Industrial Services Ltd. is recruiting IRATA Certified, Journeyman & Apprentice Electricians for the 2026 Fall Turnaround Season, with major projects in Fort McMurray and Edmonton regions. This is your chance to join a dynamic team, enjoy a people first culture, and contribute to a season focused on excellence and innovation. The schedule is 6 days on, 1 day off, with 12-hour days. The anticipated turnaround duration is August 2026 - October 2026. WQS Industrial Services Ltd. will be giving away one brand-new vehicle to an eligible WQS IND employee who commits to and completes their entire Turnaround assignment. Official contest rules and eligibility details will be provided to eligible participants.
Requirements
- Rope Access IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification is required.
- Registered Apprentice or Journeyman Red Seal Electrician Certification required.
- Must be Fit for Duty at all times.
- Must be able to comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace which includes alcohol and drug testing.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude is a must.
Nice To Haves
- Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver abstract.
- Common Safety Orientation Certification.
- Confined Space Certification.
