About The Position
WQS Industrial Services Ltd. is recruiting IRATA Certified, Journeyman & Apprentice Pipefitters for the 2026 Turnaround Season. This season will feature major projects in the Fort McMurray region, starting in early spring. WQS IND is also holding a contest where employees who commit to and complete their entire Turnaround assignment may qualify to win a brand-new vehicle. The company emphasizes a people-first culture and a season focused on excellence and innovation.
Requirements
- Rope Access IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification, or interest in obtaining your IRATA Certification.
- Registered Apprentice or Journeyman Pipefitter certification.
- Must be Fit for Duty at all times.
- Ability to comply with alcohol and drug testing.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver abstract.
- Common Safety Orientation Certification.
- Confined Space Certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform pipefitting duties during the Fall 2026 Turnarounds.
- Comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace, including alcohol and drug testing.
- Maintain high standards of safety and align with company culture.
