About The Position

WQS Industrial Services Ltd. is recruiting IRATA Certified, Journeyman & Apprentice Insulators for the 2026 Fall Turnaround Season, with major projects in Fort McMurray and Edmonton regions. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team, enjoy a people-first culture, and contribute to a season focused on excellence and innovation. The schedule is 6 days on, 1 day off, with 12-hour days. The anticipated turnaround duration is from August 2026 to October 2026. Flights and camp are provided. A competitive Local Incentive Program (LIP) is available to IRATA Level 3 employees local to Fort McMurray. Additionally, WQS IND is holding a contest for a brand-new vehicle for eligible employees who commit to and complete their entire Turnaround assignment.

Requirements

Rope Access IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification, or an interest in obtaining IRATA Certification.
Registered Apprentice or Journeyman Insulator certification.
Must be Fit for Duty at all times.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

Non-ticketed Insulators are encouraged to apply.
Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver abstract.
Common Safety Orientation Certification.
Confined Space Certification.

Responsibilities

Perform insulation work during the Fall 2026 Turnaround Season.
Comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace, including alcohol and drug testing.
Demonstrate high standards of safety.
Contribute to a season focused on excellence and innovation.
