About The Position

WQS Non-Destructive Testing (“WQS NDT”) is actively recruiting for an experienced, proficient, RT2 Technician (preferably multi-ticketed) to join the WQS NDT Team for the Fall 2026 Turnarounds. Something BIG is coming to our Fall 2026 Turnarounds, as WQS NDT will be giving away one brand-new vehicle to an eligible WQS NDT employee. Employees who commit to and complete their entire Turnaround assignment may have the opportunity to qualify for the draw. Requirements

  • CGSB Certified RT2 NDT Technician.
  • Must be Fit for Duty at all times and be able to comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace which includes alcohol and drug testing.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude is a must.
  • Upload all required certification under the "Additional Documents" section of the application portal.

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-ticketed CGSB technicians.
  • Candidates local to Edmonton, Alberta or Fort McMurray, Alberta.
  • Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver abstract.
  • First Aid Certification.
  • Confined Space Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform RT2 NDT services.
  • Complete entire Turnaround assignment to potentially qualify for a vehicle draw.
  • Demonstrate high standards of safety and align with best-in-class company culture.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
