About The Position

The part-time Inventory Specialist helps keep the store running smoothly by receiving, ticketing, and preparing inventory for the sales floor. The role also assists with markdowns, transfers, return authorizations, order fulfillment, and backroom organization. The position requires working at least 8 hours per week and may offer up to 30 hours per week. The listed pay is $20.05 per hour.

Requirements

• Able to climb a ladder as needed.
• Able to lift 20–30 pounds independently and move items weighing up to 50 pounds using an assisted dolly.

Responsibilities

• Work a minimum of 8 hours per week on inventory management tasks and responsibilities for the store team.
• Process new shipment deliveries and review products for defects before placing them on the styling floor.
• Maintain purchase order records in the point-of-sale system, manage invoices, and ticket prices for new goods.
• Partner with store leaders and store merchandisers on product placement on the styling floor.
• Replenish items sold and pull products for the styling floor each day.
• Manage the fulfillment queue for web orders and orders placed by other stores; pull, process, and ship orders promptly.
• Check weekly for items being returned to vendors and process transfers out of the store.
• Transfer products to other stores or the company warehouse as directed.
• Execute weekly markdowns and help the merchandiser keep the sale section stocked and organized.
• Maintain the backroom’s organization and cleanliness according to company directives.
• Order store supplies weekly and ensure the store has the supplies and packaging needed to operate.
