About The Position

The Inventory Specialist helps keep the store running smoothly by receiving, ticketing, and preparing inventory for the sales floor. The role also supports markdowns, transfers, return authorizations, order fulfillment, and general backroom organization. Inventory Specialists work at least 8 hours per week and act in accordance with EVEREVE’s HEART values: humility, empathy, authenticity, relationships, and tenacity.

Requirements

• Collaborative, with creative problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, with strong time-management and multitasking skills.
• Able to work independently in stores and self-motivated.
• Strong organizational and computer skills.
• Able to climb a ladder as needed.
• Able to lift 20–30 pounds independently and move items weighing up to 50 pounds using an assisted dolly.

Responsibilities

• Act and lead through EVEREVE’s HEART values: humility, empathy, authenticity, relationships, and tenacity.
• Work a minimum of 8 hours per week performing inventory management tasks for the store team.
• Process incoming shipments and inspect products for defects before placing them on the styling floor.
• Maintain purchase order records in the point-of-sale system, manage invoices, and ticket new goods.
• Coordinate with store leaders and merchandisers on product placement on the styling floor.
• Replenish items sold and pull products for the styling floor each day.
• Manage fulfillment queues for web orders and orders from other stores; pull, process, and ship orders promptly.
• Check weekly for items to be returned to vendors and process transfers out of the store.
• Transfer products to other stores or the company warehouse as directed.
• Execute weekly markdowns and help maintain an organized, well-stocked sale section.
• Keep the backroom organized and clean in accordance with company directives.
• Order store supplies weekly and ensure the store has the supplies and packaging needed to operate.
