This internship position is for a Specialist, MRO Engineering Overhaul Support Services, with dates from August 31st to December 18th, 2026. The role is based at their Saint-Hubert location, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site. The intern will assist MRO workshop requests regarding engine test rejections, scope of work, and assembly/disassembly instructions, acting as an active member of a highly qualified team of technicians and engineers providing rigorous and efficient technical support.

Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills in French or English (spoken/written).
  • Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) workshop requests regarding engine test rejections, scope of work, and assembly/disassembly instructions.
  • Being an active member of a highly qualified team of technicians and engineers whose mission is to support engine lines and provide rigorous and efficient technical support.
  • Assisting the MRO Engineering team in root cause analysis of test rejects and implementing preventive measures.
  • Analyzing test rejects trends and identifying highest offenders.
  • Reviewing various questions from Overhaul shops related to ICA (Instruction for Continued Airworthiness).
  • Proceed with review of questions and prepare proposed answers.
  • Studying Request for Evaluation data and recommend possible incorporation in Instruction for Continued Airworthiness.
  • Evaluating Light Overhaul criteria for various P&W engine family and propose standardization across engine models.
