About The Position

This internship, scheduled from August 31st to December 18th, 2026, is based at the Mirabel location. The intern will report to the Technical Supervisor and be responsible for performing varied and complex tasks related to the manufacturing and testing of aeronautical engines. This includes providing technical and operational support to the assembly line and customers, as well as adapting new procedures, tools, materials, and equipment to meet evolving requirements.

Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable
  • Pursuing studies in Aerospace, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues

Responsibilities

  • Attend daily review with production line supervisors and group lead in order to offer immediate technical support
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications (TOL, E&TI, CIC, CPW etc.) in order to resolve technical issues on production assembly line and engine testing
  • Interact with the quality organization (Engine Center quality and Customer quality management) to resolve and eliminate quality problems affecting the customer
  • Investigate technical issues, investigations and problems with Engineering
  • Participate to Quality clinics tracking the department KPIs & KPCs (eg. Re-test ratio, KPC, SPC, etc.)
  • Supports production in the improvement of work instructions and test sequencing and tooling (DR-RFA)
