About The Position

The intern will be responsible for supporting accessories product reliability improvement projects across various program market segments, as well as continuous improvement initiatives within the Engine Controls & Accessories Technical Services team.

Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable
  • Pursuing a degree in a Mechanical or Aeronautical engineer Bachelor/Master program
  • Good knowledge of tools (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, ENOVIA PLM, SAP, Power BI, Microsoft CRM etc.)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal/collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings, technical terms, and to write and communicate with international clients, suppliers or colleagues

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Achieve an overall understanding of the Program Accessory reliability data
  • Conduct product analyses to determine root cause and corrective action plan
  • Review Reliability data, identify gaps to contractual requirements, and establish action plan in collaboration with the subject matter experts
  • Identify Systemic issues across the Programs and recommend corrective action plan in collaboration with the subject matter experts
  • Support continuous improvement activities such as optimizing processes
  • Define and implement efficiency improvement opportunities
  • Support ongoing digital transformation projects within the department
