During this internship, you will be responsible for providing support to operations during the maintenance of various components used to control an aircraft engine such as fuel control units, pumps, fuel injectors, pneumatic valves, and electrical/electronic parts.

Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing studies in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills in French (spoken/written).
  • Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support to product line.
  • Perform investigation in order to find root cause.
  • Project management.
  • Develop new repair.
  • Interpret maintenance document to solve technical problem identified by the shop.
  • Interact with quality to solve quality escapes.
  • Support production in improving assembly instructions and test sequences.
  • Support engine testing in terms of investigation and contact with the engine line.
