About The Position

In the Operability Group, the students will be able to familiarize themselves with various aspects of engine operability such as starting, acceleration and deceleration (handling), transient simulation, aircraft interfaces, electronic and hydromechanics control systems. If you like teamwork and are proficient at handling several analytical tasks concurrently and working with quickly evolving requirements and priorities, we invite you to apply. Within a dynamic team, the student will have to participate to following tasks (examples): Contribute to engine sub-system definition like the controls system. Generate transient simulation corresponding to aircraft maneuvers. Establish test procedures to be performed on engine as well as supporting the tests themselves. Analyze the test results and compare to the simulation results and provide recommendations as applicable. This work term offers an excellent opportunity to the student to get familiarized with gas turbine engine operability and its operation on helicopter or airplane.
